Our Grass-fed Beef

Our Aberdeen genetics produce a tender, fine textured beef.  The breed is known for their inherent rib-eye area combined with superior marbling.  Their smaller frame allows them to finish very strongly on grasses only.

BEEF

Because meat from grass-fed animals is lower in fat than meat from grain-fed animals, it is also lower in calories.  Our grass-fed animals are much higher in antioxidants, vitamin E, carotene, riboflavin and thiamin.  However, their most significant health claim is that they have two to four times more Omega-3 fatty acids than meat from grain-fed animals. The same good Omega-3s that are found in seafood, seeds and nuts.  As we are sure you've heard, grass-fed is the healthy choice and our aberdeen don't concede flavor for making that choice!

Why The Eighty Aberdeen

From calving to plate, our product stays on the ranch.  Grazed on our pastures during the summer and wintered on forages taken from the same property, we pride ourselves on making sure our animals are not exposed to outside grains, additives or processes.  We are into quality, not quantity and we will insure a unique texture and flavor as well as guarantee our product!

WE GIVE BACK

Obviously, we're passionate about our soldiers.  This year we will give back 10% of our net profit to the Wounded Warriors Project.  We believe that we have a responsibility to give back for the efforts and sacrifices that our young soldiers have made.
